Guldskräck - translating to Target Panic in English - is a
psychological term within archery. Target panic is when you
are so afraid to miss your target, that you miss it because you
are afraid. Losing all confidence last minute.
In Guldskräck, Norberg has worked with the playground as a
focal point. The installation becomes a symbol for escapism -
a place in contrast to the ordinary world. The futile
playground acts as both a ruin of what has been, whilst still
fulfilling its purpose by existing in the gallery space.
